My name is Anita M. Gonzales, I was raised in Glorieta, NM. I have 2 daughters who are my life and 2 grandchildren whom I love with all my heart and soul. I love camping and spending time with my family, listening to NM Spanish music and country of course, and having BBQ’s. I have 2 horses and 1 dog.

I’m the Surgical Coordinator for Rio Grande Foot & Ankle Specialists. I’ve been in the podiatry field for 12 years. I went to college for billing and coding. Making sure our patients are well taken care of during the scheduling process is the most important thing for me. I love what I do and enjoy working with the team we have.

Hello, my name is Marlene Sanchez, I handle insurance verifications and medical records. I live in Las Vegas, NM. I have 4 beautiful children and 7 grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, and watching the kids play sports; I like to watch movies and listen to music.

I work from home, so I don’t get to see our patients often, but if you have any insurance questions you can call me anytime, I’m always happy to help.

Hi, I’m Ray and I am one of the medical assistants in the Taos location. I enjoy fishing and drinking Frescas, riding my motorcycle or RZA. Football is my favorite sport to watch, and I love to talk about it (GO Patriots). I always welcome new patients and treat all our patients like family. Hi, my name is Estrellita, most people call me Star. I am a Medical Assistant at the Taos office. I have over eighteen years of experience in the medical field. I was born and raised in the Mile High City (Denver, Colorado) I moved to Taos when I was eighteen and love living here. I am a proud mother of four, two girls, two boys, and a grandma to a handsome little boy. As a family we enjoy road trips, hunting, live entertainment, camping and much more. We have three sweet dogs, a loving cat, and horses that live on our family ranch in San Luis, Colorado. There is never a dull moment in my home. I have worked for Rio Grande Foot & Ankle Specialist since July 2020. I love working here with my second family. Helping people is my passion. I am looking forward to seeing each patient leave this office happy and better than they did when they walked in.

Hello, my name is Yamileth Koerdell, I am a medical assistant at the Santa Fe location. I have worked at Rio Grande Foot and Ankle Specialists for almost a year now. I enjoy meeting patients and working with them, I also really enjoy working with everyone here! When I am not at work I love the outdoors, I have a sweet German Shepherd that loves to play and stay active. In the warmer months one of our favorite things to do is to get outside and go on hikes.

Hello, I am Andrea (Drea) Martinez, I am the front desk receptionist at our Los Alamos location. I am from Alcalde, NM. I have 4 beautiful children, 3 boys and 1 girl who are my pride and joys. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy listening to old school R&B & country music, mostly Morgan Wallen. I enjoy working at RGFAS because every day is different, and I get to interact with such a varied group of people. My coworkers and management team are sociable, knowledgeable, and caring.
