About Rio Grande
Rio Grande Foot & Ankle Specialists was started in 2019 by Dr Michelle Deithloff and her business partners when previous practices for which she worked left the area. She did not want to give up on her patients, her employees, or the northern New Mexico community, so she worked to establish a new practice dedicated to compassionate and competent patient care. Dr Deithloff and many of our other employees have been working in the podiatry field in northern New Mexico for many years. Rio Grande Foot & Ankle Specialists has since expanded to include additional doctors to serve you better.

Quality care close to home!! This morning I had a fall and injured my foot. Rio grande Foot and Ankle Specialist was able to fit me in the same day. The staff was curteous and professional. Doctor is very knowledgeable and made me feel cared for..It was a pleasant visit.

Friendly staff that assist you in your needs. They helped with insurance paperwork and exrays, schedule appointments. Paperwork for physical therapy set up appointment for orthopedic insoles. Dr. Michelle is very knowledgeable in dealing with my foot and ankle. GREAT PEOPLE AT RIO GRANDE FOOT AND ANKLE.

The Doctor was understanding, caring and knew just what I needed and exactly how to help me. This place has really great staff from the front desk to the radiologist to the doctors. It only took 2 days to get in, which is awesome when you’re in pain! Two thumbs way up and highly recommended.
